The above is one of my favourite quotes from the movie Eat Pray Love, my favourite is...

"I remember an old catholic joke about a man who spent his whole life going to a church every day and prayed to the statue of a great saint begging "please, please, please, let me win the lottery." Finally the exasperated statue comes to life and looks down at the begging man and says "my son, please, please, please, buy a ticket." So now I get the joke, and I bought three tickets."

You should know 2 things if you have followed my blog for any period of time:

1. That i love this book. 2. That i myself bought a ticket.

I read this book over a few months last year finishing it around Christmas time whilst i was living at home with my family and working a job i morally detested and earning very good money, a little like Liz so it seams now and then i (like she) decided one day to just give it all up for a major change. I didn't go through a divorce as such but i quit my job and pondered what my next move would be and just like Liz mine was to another part of the world.

I can go through more of my story, if you want to hear it just ask!!!

Back to the movie, it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like the book, and i was so happy about it. Sitting there i did get a little bit teary because until those moments i hadn't really realised how much of a effect this book/film had had on me.

Props to Julia Roberts she was fantastic as always, ladies i urge you see this film read this book and learn to love yourself and be happy. Its worth it!

HANDS DOWN THE MOST AMAZING BOOK I HAVE EVER EVER READ!!!

I read this book a couple of years back after reading a article about it the paper.

It is the book about the authors journey physical and emotional after her divorce from her husband.

I read this book and could feel my own journey through hers, i then passed it onto one of my dear friends back home who is into her 50's and she could also see her journey of life through Gilbert's words.

The way i read this book can only be explained in one word i "devoured" it was like the yummiest piece of cake ever you wanted to have it all so fast but yet you knew you needed to savor every bit.

This is a book that every women should read its inspiring, heart braking and heart warming all at the same time.

Its a book full of quotes for rough times and will be a excellent addition to any book shelf!

P.S this is coming out as a movie soon so you better get reading!
