My weekend.

Ah its Wednesday and im finally doing my weekend, i think this whole working thing is taking its toll on me!

I had a pretty boring weekend this time round Kirk went and watched the Everton game with his sister on Saturday arvo and on Sunday i went and did some grocery shopping.

On Saturday morning though after recieveing the news about my mutch loved Grommit i had to head to town to open a bank account and of course do a little bit of shopping!

I also got a outfit of the day for you : )

This is me and my good friend Hello Kitty, she is wearing a lovely one off pink dress is white detail, white tights and pink shoes. Im wearing my Everton shirt which is strippy but from this picture (off Kirks phone) looks rather odd! Jeans and blue flats i have my Toy watch and Pandora on and am using a vintage bag that i bought at cow for 4.00pounds.

Now to my shopping, I bought these shoes from New Look on Friday after seeing them and going away to have a think. They cost me about 22.00pounds. I wore them yesterday they where so comfortable especially for new shoes!

And i finally got my Topshop gloves!!!! Well these are my second pair as my first ones broke but they exchanged them for me. They are lovely so worth the 6.00pounds!

I went to Lush again and this time asked for a bath bomb that would make me happy. I will reveiw this over the weekend!

Then i went to Primark, as you all know im not a full on primark lover but buying 4 things that i needed and coming away with change from a 20.00pound note is always something to smile about!

I got these little house slippers, my new house is all lino floor so i need something to keep my feet warm seeing as summer has now gone!

I got this huge, thick, yummy and warm cardi. A girl (Jenni) in my class wears something similar and i really wanted a big thick one. I tried on one in Topshop but for 35.00 pounds i had to think about it. Then i found this baby for 7.00 pounds and to be honest i really dont think the quality is much different.

Another Topshop look alike is this snood. You would have seen something like this featured in one of my "What i want from topshop" posts. I looked at the one in Topshop again because of it being 15.00pounds and my money being a little tight i had to contemplate. This was 4.00pounds from Primark. Not as nicer pink as the Topshop one but im more than happy with it!

Last but not least, i always buy my Pjs from Primark and i need a new set! These where 6.00pounds and they are super duper soft!!! I really wanted one of those all in one things you see in there window but due to them being so long you could fit me 3 times over in them. Maybe i should look in the kids section???

These where 6.00pounds.

I think all these bargins are great, what do you think?

Are you happy to buy dupes of things from Primark?

This weekend im headed to the Matthew street festival, one of my friends from work is playing with his band. Are any of you headed?

Oh no, not another lust!!!!

I have just been checking out asos online having a bit of a nosey through there jewelery and have come across something i have now fallen in love with. Hey i don't normally post on a Sunday so its clearly had some impact!

How C-U-T-E is this Cath Kidston necklace!!!!! I love her stuff as it is but something with dogs just pushes me over the edge from general lusting to shear needing. I love dogs as is clear with my blog and after losing one of mine on Friday wouldn't Grommit want me to have this. I think so!
Maybe a cheeky little purchase from asos is in order, oh no my parents now know about my blog so none of my little shopping sprees are actually secret anymore.
Make sure you say hello to my mummy and daddy oh and Brad. Or Brad you could always buy me this, i would be forever greatful, its only 38pounds : )

Bye bye Grommi!

This is a sad post. I just found out from my family back home that our dog Grommit (like wall is and Grommit) passed away yesterday 20th August 2010.
He was 21 years old.
I have had Grommit for as long as i can remember, i can remember us getting him he had followed one of mums friends neighbours home from school one day and they decided to keep him until there Nana was moving in and because she also had a dog they couldn't have 3. In steps us after losing 2 dogs we decided he could come home with us.
I would like to share some of my favourite memories of him:

My first real whole memory of Grommi (as i called him) was when my brother was younger he used to stand in a little standing frame in our backyard and eat this little sugar covered biscuits. Brad being not such a bright child and Grommit being such a cunning dog used to beg Brad for a bite. Brad would hold his biscuit out for Grommit and much to Brads dismay Grommit would take the whole thing. Then Brad would cry, get another biscuit and the cycle would happen again!
Grommit was the ruler of our backyard, all these photos are taken there you would see him parading up and down the fence making sure nothing got past him. He would bark at strangers and i think if anyone would have ever been stupid enough to jump our fence he would have given them what for.
Another memory is when he had a red belly black snake in his mouth, we get lots of snakes in our backyard and Grommit on this occasion decided to pick one up. Being only a baby snake at about maybe 20cm long he had it in his mouth like a dog carries a stick. When mum screamed at him to drop it he tried to drop it at her feet. Poor Grommit couldn't understand what he had done so wrong.

Grommit LOVED to fetch the ball when he was younger he could fetch all day as long as he had someone to throw it for him. When we sold our house in Sydney a couple asked us if they could have him with the house, which we told them a definite no. We also have had 2 cats in Grommits lifetime one being my cat Bell and the cat we still have Louie. Bell used to beat Grommit up, he used to be missing all the fur off his cheeks she obviously used to just sit in front of him and beat his face with his claws. With Louie we also used to find where ever he was sitting in the back yard and throw the ball right past him this ended with Louie pouncing on him and Louie getting a nice big growl from Grommit.

So that's my Grommi, the dog who promised me he wouldn't die while i was gone. Maybe he gave up on me coming back or maybe his dementure made him forget.
I will miss scratching you behind your ears so that you used to make a almost screaming noise because liked it so much, i will miss the way you used to howl at the answering machine. But most of all i will just miss you and your little quirky personality.
I love you Grommit i always will, i hope doggie heaven comes will all the bones, smackos and balls you could ever imagine.
Louie and Ortiz will do you proud protecting your garden.
