Bright colours, small town

When i moved to the UK & started this blog my style developed away from the small town surf brand clothing i used to want to have.

I guess it had kind of started to form while i was living here as i had a very small vintage clothing collection but i still predominately lived in jeans & t-shirts.

So now when i wear my cloths from overseas i laugh a little inside because i still see kids i went to school with dressed like i used to be.

1 Skirt 10 ways, outfit #6

So I'm now on my 6th outfit (see the others here!), this one is more of a winter outfit using one of my FAVE scarfs (even if its from Primark).

The other thing i love about this outfit is the mix of vintage and very cheap accessories to make a super cute outfit.

I think i could wear this to any casual event.

Skirt: Thrifted vintage.

Singlet: Primark

Cardi: Primark

Scarf: Primark.

My last ever Primark collection before i head home, could it be better?

Since i have been in the UK i have seen lots of different items at Primark and as a general rule i always can find something cheap that i really like from there.

Above are some images from there Autumn collection and I'm to excited.

I have decided i need the purple hat, all 3 bags, the skirt in the top right hand corner and the cape next to it.

What would you like?

1 skirt 10 ways, #4

Here goes number 4 of my 10 ways outfits (1, 2, 3) i really enjoyed styling these outfits and think they have all come together really well.

This look below i love, its a very casual day look that i have wore many times.

Although the nude singlet/vest is very muted against the skirt adding the floral cardi makes sure I'm not to washed out.
Skirt: Thrifted vintage.
Singlet: Primark
Cardi: Cotton on.

1 skirt 10 ways, outfit #1

Let me explain the concept here, i bought this skirt for £1.00 from a thrift shop right by where i live. It is the most amazing shade of green EVER and is a really nice satin feel with a elastic waist and flowing pleats.

I am also at this current moment doing a 100 day outfit challenge on youtube, so basically i am not shopping and am making a different outfit everyday out of the clothing i have (i am doing 50 days here in the UK and then 50 when I's back in Australia).

So (getting to the point) i decided to make 10 different outfits using this one skirt and document them here for you on my blog.

So lets get started with on of Summers biggest trends and one i was dying to try out COLOUR BLOCKING!!!

You can see I'm wearing a fuschia singlet/vest, a oatmeal cardi.

I really hope you enjoy this series and please tell me what you think of my outfits!

DIY necklace and Pretty red nails!

Last week i decided to revamp one of my Topshop necklaces.

I got the idea from one of my favourite Youtubers Jeni.

This was a cute green necklace i got from Topshop a while a go, it is nice but because the chain is SOOOO long it can get lost in a outfit.
This is a Primark bracelet i got in a set from Michaels mum. It was to big for my wrist.

So i decided to put them together, and here is the finished product. So easy but a really cute piece. I will wear it in a outfit of the day soon.

Onto the nails all this week i have been wearing red polish, I wore this OPI Conquistadorable colour (wow what a name)

Here it is on the nails.

Then i put on the duo which is totally amazing!!!

Nails inc Milan and Barry M Red glitter.

And on the nails.

And the last penny goes to.

This past week i went to London for 2 days, i did 2 videos on the streets of London and will hopefully have them up this week.
While there i didn't do much shopping, although i did head to Oxford street because i love the feel and vibe of it (reminds me of inner Sydney).
I had major money/bank dramas while down there but besides that i have decided to have NO MORE spending. As you all should know I'm traveling in September/October so i need to keep any funds for that and also due to work i don't have loads of extra cash coming in (but this is ok because i LOVE my job).
So these shall be my last purchases for a while.

These are my beauties i found on Oxford street.
The bag i got at Primark and i couldn't pass it up, i use these canvas bags ALL THE TIME and this one is so cute and funny.
The necklace was from Topshop i will do a whole post on it this week as it was amazing and i want to go into great detail about this necklace.

I also found these polishes at Topshop the pink one blew me away it is sooooooooo amazing and i have never seen anything like it (does Topshop Oxford street get different Barry M to everywhere else?)
And i have seen the Holograms on Fee's blog and picked them up because again i have only ever seen them there and never seen them where i could purchase them.

Arn't Primark scarves the BEST?
I love my Primark scarves and i am finding that even though its warming up here in the UK i still need a light scarf as there always seams to be a cool breeze.
I picked this because of the colours and patterns then i opened it and realised it was a union jack. I think i love it even more.
Last of all is my official piece of of Royal Wedding memorabilia, i purchased this pin at the Westminster Abbey shop for a donation of a pound.
Theres something to show the grand kids.

I will post the pictures and videos this week.
