1 Skirt 10 ways (Take 2)

My all time favourite feature i have ever had on my blog is the 1 skirt 10 ways.

So i decided to do a new one, this time the skirt is a lovely thrifted navy blue & white poka-dot maxi number.

So the concept is still the same i take the same skirt wear it 10 times each styling it a different way.

So here goes number 1!

Some thrift store finds

Recently I have been unearthing some pretty amazing finds while thrifing, including things not pictured like my black boots & the dress I DIYed (seen here & here)

Here are a few of my other most recent purchases, some I'm keeping the way they came others need a little DIY touch.

Stiches Melbourne skirt.

Mustard cardigan
(I almost cried when i found it)

Black dress with lace detail at the top

(I will be hemming this)

Bali style bag

(this is super in practical, but super cute)

Have you been thrifting of late?

What have you found?

My very first DIY

The other day while hunting through my favourite local charity shop i came across this BRIGHT dress, loving the print i tried it on, but its length & over all boldness made it far to much for me to handle but for $4 i decided to pick it up anyway with the vision of hemming it & making it more modern & wearable

The dress before
Whilst trying it on to hem it i decided against my original idea & decided to make a skirt from it & then mum convinced me to make a little jacket out of the top half.

I could not be happier with the results

I paired the Jacket with a pair of Just jeans blue chinos & a black singlet

The skirt is worn with a black tee.

I'm sooooo happy with it & cant wait to find more wonder i can alter.

Not a great photo

This week has been hectic & my promise to try & blog more often has not been met, but I'm trying so i guess that's the main thing.... Maybe?

This outfit is from last week where i got to wear some of my real cloths as apposed to jumping from one uniform to another like this week.

There's nothing I love more than a thrifted skirt!

Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry it's been so long since you have heard from me, I was a little under the weather & then I was busy working so again I'm very sorry.
But I'm back with a new thrift store find & a bonus outfit of the day, forgiven??

1 Skirt 10 ways, outfit #6

So I'm now on my 6th outfit (see the others here!), this one is more of a winter outfit using one of my FAVE scarfs (even if its from Primark).

The other thing i love about this outfit is the mix of vintage and very cheap accessories to make a super cute outfit.

I think i could wear this to any casual event.

1 skirt 10 ways, #5

So here in the UK where in the middle of summer.... So in true British style the past few days have been wet and cold!

This is reflected in this outfit (find the others here!).

I have teamed the lime green skirt here with my all time fave jumper which everyone else seams to have a love/hate relationship with.

Jumper - Thrifted Vintage I LOVE these two paired together, What do you think?

1 skirt 10 ways, outfit #1

Let me explain the concept here, i bought this skirt for £1.00 from a thrift shop right by where i live. It is the most amazing shade of green EVER and is a really nice satin feel with a elastic waist and flowing pleats.

I am also at this current moment doing a 100 day outfit challenge on youtube, so basically i am not shopping and am making a different outfit everyday out of the clothing i have (i am doing 50 days here in the UK and then 50 when I's back in Australia).

So (getting to the point) i decided to make 10 different outfits using this one skirt and document them here for you on my blog.

So lets get started with on of Summers biggest trends and one i was dying to try out COLOUR BLOCKING!!!

You can see I'm wearing a fuschia singlet/vest, a oatmeal cardi.

I really hope you enjoy this series and please tell me what you think of my outfits!
