A little thrift for your Tuesday.

Today i popped into a charity shop in Liverpool that i always work past but have never been into, here are the 2 little things i found whilst in there:

Fighting the Urge!

So let me share something with you, my plans to travel around Europe wont come cheap so it should come to no sup rise to you all that i have significant savings.

Besides my savings in my Australian acc i also have a small about in my British bank acc to well £800.00 to be exact.And sometimes while trawling Net-a-porter I'm tempted to blow the lot (or some) on one gorgeous new baby! Chloe Elsie leather shoulder bag - £770.00

My UK list.

I have a list saved on my computer of things i want to do/see/buy during my time in the UK, some things have been marked off (eg London).

On said list was a purchase, one that has been there since i left AUS.

I started reading some blogs while i was home and all these girls showing off the cute, girly little articles from bags to bed covers.

They where all Cath Kidston.

So i put it on my list, to buy myself some lovely articles from this lovely brand.

So that's exactly what i did a couple of days ago i headed to there gorgeous store in Liverpool and purchased 2 items all for myself.

(i say this because i have bought a few gifts from there).

My Bag filled with goodies.

Yes ANOTHER bag. But i use them and i enjoy spending my money on them.

And a little case for my ipod. Its really soft and protected inside.

So now its back to saving my money for travel and such but it feels so good to tick something else off.

What im currently saving for.

So your probably thinking Alex these bags are not that expensive to be needing to save for but as a Au pair i earn and hold onto your socks a whole 50 pounds a week, so in theory i could buy one with just one weeks pay, BUT i spend most of my money on weekends with my boy. I currently live in the middle of nowhere and it costs me almost 20 pounds (if i stay over) just in a train fair and about 10 pounds if i come back in one day. To me this is a complete joke, but anyway back to my bags.



These are Paul's boutique and i LOVE them. If i hadn't decided to get my watch for my birthday i would of for sure purchased one of these babies. But my real question is which one...?

I know i want a navy one due to the fact i don't have a navy bag here or back home in Aus.

My choices are: Amy or Maisy. Or decisions decisions.

This is Amy ain't she a beauty. She is 49.00 pounds, i am yet to see this one in real life but it looks so nice.

And this little one is Maisy, i have seen this one before and she is the reason i am investigating this brand. She costs 55.00 pounds.

I'm guessing i will have to save and then go and decide which baby i would like to add to my collection.
